Turning an overgrown and neglected front garden in to a useable space for entertaining while maintaining good access to the house and providing privacy.
A circular brick patio & winding path were created to maximise the space while providing an interesting journey from the gate to the house. An abstract pergola of timber and steel adds height with a contemporary twist, and the planting is strongly architectural. Key plants include bamboo, Magnolia grandiflora, Euphorbia mellifera, ferns, hosta and lilies.
