Salvia x superba AGM

Hardy herbaceous perennial

Masses of violet blue flowers borne on numerous branching spikes from June. Crimson-purple bracts persist after flowering, and if trimmed after flowering will often produce a second flush of blooms.

Height & Spread: 60 – 90cm x 45cm

Plant from autumn to spring in any free draining soil in full sun. Large clumps can be divided in autumn or spring.

Design uses:

  • In large groups within a mixed or herbaceous border
  • Upright accents
  • To attract bees & butterflies

Early flowering deciduous climber bearing shapely white blooms from early summer followed by decorative seed heads.

Sun or shade as long as the base of the plant is in shade.

A hardy deciduous climber with lacecap flowers which flowers in early and mid summer. Ideal for a north facing or shady border.
