This Twickenham garden had a lovely aspect but was tired and had an unsuccessful lawn that the client wanted to remove.

Instead of paving the whole area we created a gravel garden planted with creeping thyme, lavender, other flowering perennials and clipped box balls.

New sandstone paving created usable dining & seating areas to enjoy the different aspects of the garden.

The client had a selection of old iron work and singer sewing machine stands which we utilised to create bench seating and a plant stand, adding a quirky and individual character to the garden.

We also installed an aged stone trough as a water feature (much appreciated by the cat).

The existing shed and a new pergola were painted black to anchor the whole scheme.
